Set a shop's weekly sales and use Fill to on a delivery

Enter how many of each product a shop sells a week, see how Fill to is worked out across its routes, and change it on the day of a delivery.

Español

Each product a shop carries has one figure, Sells per week. A delivery turns it into Fill to, the level the shelf should reach, and suggests how many to leave.

Set the weekly sales

  1. Open the shop and go to its Route tab. Under Stock, choose Manage products.
  2. For each product, enter Sells per week. While the shop is a prospect, your best guess is fine.
  3. Choose Save products.

The Dashboard's Setup tab lists the active shops with a product still missing this figure, and each row opens that shop's products.

How Fill to is worked out

Fill to is the weekly sales times the time until the shop's next visit, rounded up. The next visit is the soonest one across every route the shop is on that has a rhythm:

  • On a weekly route, a visit fills a week; on a fortnightly route, two weeks.
  • A monthly route counts a month as a twelfth of a year, so a product selling 10 a week is filled to 44, not 40.
  • A shop on two fortnightly routes a week apart is filled for a week.
  • A shop on no route is filled for a week.

Delivered then starts at Fill to, minus what is still on the shelf, plus anything you are taking away under Replaced. Under the figure the app says where it came from, for example "10 a week for 7 days, until the next visit on Centro on Tuesdays".

Change it on the day

  1. On the delivery, tap Edit beside Fill to.
  2. Type the level the shelf needs. Delivered follows at once, and the row is marked (changed).
  3. Tap Done, or Reset to go back to the route's figure.

When you record the visit, the new level becomes the shop's Sells per week, so the next delivery starts from it; the line under the box says what it will be saved as. It is always worked out over at least the shop's usual gap between visits, so a level set the day before the van comes doesn't inflate the weekly figure. If a product has no weekly sales yet, the row says so and offers Set one.
