How much to leave: sells per week

One number per product at each shop, and how a delivery turns it into a fill level.

Español

Every product a shop carries has one figure: how many it sells a week. It values a prospect in the pipeline and it sets how much a delivery leaves, so the two can never disagree. Every product a shop carries needs one; the Dashboard's Setup tab lists the shops still missing it.

On a delivery each product shows Fill to: its weekly sales times the time until the shop's next visit, rounded up. The next visit is the soonest of the shop's routes, so a run on a weekly route fills a week, and a shop visited by two fortnightly routes a week apart is filled for a week, not two. A shop on no route is filled for a week. Under the figure the app says where it came from.

If a shelf needs more or less, tap Edit beside the fill level and type the level you want. What to deliver follows at once, and when the visit is saved the new level becomes the shop's sells per week, so the next visit starts from it. It is always saved over at least the shop's usual gap, so a level set the day before the van comes does not inflate the weekly figure. Reset puts the route's figure back.

Away from a delivery, on a shop's products and the stores list, the fill level uses the shop's usual gap between visits rather than today's.
