Recording a delivery

Who restocks a shop, what each box means, and how the amount owed is calculated.

Español

A delivery records one visit to one shop. For each product you enter what you found and what you left; the app works out the money.

Every shop says who restocks it: our own route, or its seller doing it themselves. It is set on the shop's page and it is a standing arrangement rather than a decision per visit, and it decides which partner price the seller pays there, as the topic on earnings explains. Only a shop with a seller can be handed over: clear the seller and it comes straight back to our route, so delivery never lands on nobody. It changes nothing about permissions — anybody who could record a delivery still can, whoever drove there — and nothing about who earns, which is the seller either way.

Remaining is everything still at the shop when you arrive, damaged stock included. Replaced is how many of those you are taking away as damaged or expired — they cost the shop nothing, and the suggested delivery goes up to cover them. Delivered is what you actually leave.

Delivered starts as a suggestion: enough to fill the shelf to its Fill to level, which comes from the product's sells per week and the time until the shop's next visit (see the topic on sells per week). Type your own number and it stops following the suggestion, and the row is marked Manual. If you then change what you found, the suggestion moves but your number stays — so the row shows a link offering the new figure. Clearing the box hands the row back to the suggestion.

The amount owed depends on the shop's payment type, which is explained in its own topic. Under the amount, the app names what it is counting: sold on a consignment shop, charged on a direct one.

A visit where you left nothing is still worth recording. Use No delivery required and write the reason — it keeps the shop's history honest and stops it looking overdue.

Payment is recorded on the same screen. Pay later leaves the visit outstanding, and the balance carries to the next visit.
