Delivery note template

Fill in the form and the delivery note builds itself beside it. It opens with an example: swap in your own details, then print it or save it as a PDF, on a full page or a 58mm receipt.

Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. Your draft is kept on this device only, so it is still here if you close the page.

What a delivery note is

A delivery note records goods handed over: what, how many, at what price, to whom and when. The shop signs to say it received them and each side keeps a copy. It is what you bill from later, and what settles an argument about what was left.

It is not an invoice. This tool computes no tax: prices appear exactly as you type them. If the shop needs an invoice, issue one separately.

What to put on one

  1. Your business name and how to reach you.
  2. The shop's name and address.
  3. The date and a note number, in sequence.
  4. Each product with quantity, unit price and amount.
  5. The total.
  6. A line for the person who receives it to sign.

What people ask

What is a delivery note?
A document that goes with goods you hand over, listing what was delivered, how much, at what price, to whom and on what date. The person receiving it signs, and both sides keep a copy.
Is a delivery note the same as an invoice?
No. A delivery note proves what was handed over; an invoice asks for payment and usually carries tax. You can deliver with a note and invoice later. This template computes no tax.
What should a delivery note include?
Your details, the shop's details, the date, a sequential number, each product with quantity, unit price and amount, the total, and a signature line for whoever receives the goods.
Can I save it as a PDF?
Yes. Press “Print or save as PDF” and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. Only the note prints; the rest of the page is left out.
Will it print on a receipt printer?
Choose “58mm receipt” and the note reflows into one narrow column sized for 58mm thermal paper. From a laptop it prints like any page; from a phone it depends on your printer and the app it uses.
Is what I type stored anywhere?
Only in your own browser, on this device, so the draft survives closing the page. Nothing is sent to us. “Start blank” clears it.

Artisanly prints the note at every visit

In Artisanly you record the visit and the receipt comes out of it: what sold, free replacements, what is left on the shelf, what was paid and what is still owed. It prints on a 58mm Bluetooth thermal printer from your phone or from a laptop, and when a shop pays by transfer the note carries the amount and your bank details.
