Roles and access
Who can see which shops, and who can change what.
Everyone has one of three roles. Your role decides which shops you see and what you can do to them.
Access is enforced by the database, not just by hiding buttons. If a shop is not yours, it is not returned to your browser at all — so there is no version of the app where the wrong person sees the wrong shop.
Partners get access in two ways. Assigned shops are ticked individually and can be fully managed: viewed, edited, delivered to. Region access is broader but read-only — you can see every shop in a region without being able to change them. A shop you create is assigned to you automatically.
Only an admin can change roles or grant access, on the Team page.
What each role can do
| Admin | Sees every shop and can change anything, including roles, access, commissions and API keys. |

| Staff | Sees every shop and can edit any of them, plus payments. Cannot change roles, access or settings. |
| Partner | Sees their assigned shops, plus read-only access to any regions they are given. Can fully manage their own shops. |
