Printing receipts

Print a visit's receipt to a portable Bluetooth printer from an iPhone or Android phone.

Español

Every recorded visit has a receipt. On a phone it prints to a portable 58mm Bluetooth thermal printer such as the PT-210. On a computer, the printer button in the title bar prints it the ordinary way.

On an iPhone, install the free RTPrinter app from the App Store and connect the printer in it once. Then on a receipt, tap Print with RTPrinter, choose RTPrinter in the list that opens, and print. Safari itself cannot reach a Bluetooth printer, so the receipt goes to RTPrinter as a file sized to the paper.

To print in one tap instead, open Artisanly in the free Bluefy browser, which can reach the printer itself. There Print receipt asks once which printer to use; choose the PT-210, and the rest of that visit's receipts go straight to it.

On Android, Print receipt works in one tap in Chrome. Print with RawBT is there as well, for printers that only speak the older kind of Bluetooth: install the free RawBT app and pair the printer in it once.

If nothing prints, check that the printer is on, charged, has paper and is close by, then try again. If the phone asks, let the app or the browser use Bluetooth.
